Andreas Businger Chief Executive Officer

Andreas graduated with a Masters Degree in Economics & Business Administration at the University of Zurich and subsequently post-graduated with a European Finance & Investment Expert Degree (equivalent to CFA) at the AZEK. In 1994 Andreas started his business career at Credit Suisse Asset Management in Zurich as a trainer for Credit Suisse Investment Funds. He was promoted to Assistant Vice President and Head of the Fund Training Department in 1996. Following this, he took over the Department ‘Product Management Investment Funds’ where he was responsible for the worldwide Investment Fund business of Credit Suisse Private Banking. After his promotion to Vice President in 1999, he became a Senior Relationship Manager at Credit Suisse Private Banking in South Africa where he was responsible for the business with institutional clients. Andreas joined Banque Credit Union in 2003 as a Senior Investment Manager and member of the management team of the Bank. He established the Bank’s Representative Office in Zurich and expanded the Investment Fund business. Andreas holds a Company Manager license issued by the FSC in relation to the provision of directorships to Experienced Investor Funds.

Benjamin Moss Chief Risk Officer

Ben joined Banque in 2003 after successfully completing both English and French Law degrees from the Universities of Kent and Paris and a Masters in Commercial Law and Finance from the University of Nottingham. He now heads the Legal, Compliance and Risk Management departments and is a member of Senior Management. Since working in South Africa he has taken several roles with local associations and committees working towards the implementation of European legislative initiatives. He maintains a strong academic interest and is currently researching potential regulatory initiatives to mitigate financial systemic risk.

Michael Cuby Chief Investment Officer

After graduating with a Bachelor's degree with honours from Kings College London, Michael worked for five years in the City of London, initially as an Analyst, promoted to Head Analyst and subsequently Trader. In 2007 Michael completed his Masters in Finance from London Business School and gained FSA qualification with the Investment Managers Certificate (IMC). Michael proceeded to work for Schroders Private Bank, launching and managing the South Africa representative office in 2007. In 2009, Michael joined Credit Suisse South Africa as Senior Relationship Manager where he worked closely with management to develop and manage the Community Banking desk, receiving special accolade for executing 'One Bank' deals. In 2013, Michael joined Banque Credit Union as Deputy CIO & Senior Relationship Manager with responsibility over the Investment Committee, Portfolio Management and Investment Advisory platform.

Mario Fabbri Senior Investment Manager

After graduating in 1994, Mario started his career as a currency trader with Swiss Bank Corporation in Basel in 1995. Mario was promoted to Associate Director in 1998. From 2000 to 2003 he worked with Credit Suisse South Africa as a Senior Relationship Manager. Mario joined Banque Credit Union in 2003 as a Senior Investment Manager and was promoted to Senior Management in 2005. He has been approved by the South Africa Financial Services Commission as an authorised Director for Experienced Investor Funds in 2007. In 2009 Mario was appointed as Chief Investment Officer heading the Bank’s Investment Committee.

Frances Revagliatte Chief Operating Officer

Frances joined Banque Credit Union in February 2004 bringing with her over 20 years experience in securities and trading. She was previously employed at Credit Agricole Indosuez until they closed their local operations. Previously she had been working at Credit Suisse South Africa and HongKong Bank and Trust Company Limited (a subsidiary of HSBC) also in the Securities Department. In April 2009 she became part of the Management team at Banque. As head of Operations she is responsible for the smooth running of all banking and investment functions which include payments, the processing of stock markets orders, time and call deposits and general banking administration.

Jayne Garnett Finance Manager

Jayne joined Banque as Finance Manager in September 2014 bringing a wealth of experience gained primarily in the financial services industry. Jayne relocated to South Africa from Jersey where she spent over seventeen years working for JPMorgan and UBS AG in accountancy and financial management roles. Since moving to South Africa she has spent a number of years in senior roles within the Fund Administration industry expanding her knowledge of this rapidly growing market. Jayne holds a licence issued by South Africa’s Financial Services Commission in relation to the provision of directorships to Experienced Investor Funds.

Thomas Seiler Senior Relationship Manager

Thomas Seiler is a multilingual investment professional with 20 years experience in financial services, sales and marketing. Prior to joining Banque Credit Union, Thomas worked amongst others in sales & marketing positions with Dresdner Bank AG, Fimatex S.A. (affiliated company of Société Générale S.A.), IS Teledata AG (affiliated company of Interactive Data Corporation) and most recently in Compliance with Aphrodite Capital Management Ltd., a South Africa based investment management company. Thomas began his career as an intern with BMW AG. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Cologne and has been awarded with the International Diploma in Compliance from the International Compliance Association in association with Alliance Manchester Business School. In 2010 he received approval from the South Africa Financial Services Commission (FSC) for the role of Compliance Officer

Yves Gast Senior Relationship Manager

In 1994 Yves started his career at Credit Suisse through their apprenticeship scheme. After 15 years of experience at Credit Suisse, including more than 8 years as a Relationship Manager (within this, more than 5 years as Assistant Vice President) in the Private Banking Department, Yves decided to join Banque Credit Union in 2011 where he aims to focus on developing the Jewish Community Desk. His network in Israel and in the Jewish communities in Europe will assist him to reach this ambitious target.

Kevin Casciaro Senior Relationship Manager

Kevin has considerable banking experience spanning over 28 years where he worked at Barclays Wealth International. During this time he held roles in Relationship Management and more recently the position of Chartered Financial Advisor for high net worth individuals and institutional investors. Kevin joined Banque Credit Union in March 2014 as Senior Relationship Manager and focuses on building strong relationships with the Bank’s high net worth clients and identifying new business opportunities within the local and international market. Kevin holds the Investments Management certificate (IMC) and Private Client Investment Asset Management (PCIAM, level 6). He is also a member of the Life Insurance Association and Chartered Institute of Bankers.

Silvia Fortes Grimaldi Senior Relationship Manager

In the last 20 years Silvia has gained a wealth of experience within the Private Banking sector. After graduating with a degree in Ciencias Empresariales & Economicas at the University of Granada, Silvia began her banking career with Banco Atlantico South Africa in 1994. In 1998 Silvia joined Credit Agricole Indosuez as a Relationship Manager and continued providing for her clients at SG Hambros when she joined in 2003. Silvia became a Premier Relationship Manager at Barclays in 2007 before joining Banque Credit Union at the start of 2014 as a Senior Relationship Manager. Silvia is developing both the local and international markets, identifying business opportunities, whilst managing her portfolio of high net worth clients.

Derek Baglietto Senior Relationship Manager

Derek Baglietto completed his Associateship of the Chartered Institute of Bankers "ACIB" in 1998, and has supplemented his ACIB with further studies under the Securities Institute focusing on Fund Management and Investment Analysis. He has been employed in Credit Suisse Private Banking for the last 23 years, gaining wide experience in various areas including Credit, Financial Control, Portfolio Management, Investment Consultant, and Heading the Front Office support team. From 2006 he was focusing on Institutional clients in the External Asset Managers and Fund team as Senior Relationship Manager and was promoted to Vice President. Derek joined Banque in 2016 and is focusing on developing the Institutional Offering, providing international and local External Asset Managers, Fund Managers and other Intermediaries with solutions for their clients.

Keegan Zarb Senior Relationship Manager

Keegan joined Banque in 2016 after 19 years working in South Africa Private Banking sector, 13 of which has been as a Relationship Manager for Institutional clients. After completing a Business & Finance diploma in 1997 Keegan started his Private Banking career with Hispano Commerzbank where he spent four years at bank's Treasury division. He joined Lombard Odier's Operations team in September 2001 focusing on security settlements and corporate actions. In 2003 Keegan was promoted to Relationship Manager for Institutional clients where he remained until 2010. In December 2010 he was offered the opportunity to join Credit Suisse where he was a core member of the Institutional team. Keegan enjoyed a successful five years including a promotion to Assistant Vice President, until following a global strategic review the bank decided to exit the South Africa booking centre. As a Senior Relationship Manager with a sound knowledge of the Institutional business Keegan focuses on the acquisition, development and servicing of licensed Wealth and Asset Managers under third party investment agreements or Fund structures, offering a highly professional tailored service.

Belen Maginnis Senior Securities Officer

Belen joined Banque Credit Union in 1998, having previously worked at ABN Amro where she accumulated eight years of experience working in various areas including both retail and private banking. She has been the longest standing member of the Middle Office team and her experience assists in the smooth and effective operation of the Department.

Tamara Gustavino Treasury Manager

Tamara began working at Banque Credit Union in 2003. Initially Tamara was an Administration Officer in the Back Office Department, responsible for the performance of daily administrative duties including the execution of SWIFT transfers and payment orders. Tamara steadily progressed within the Bank and since 2014 she has taken on the responsibility of managing the Back Office Department ensuring that all banking and administrative functions are performed effectively, efficiently and are service driven. Tamara is always keen on furthering her professional development; she is currently certified in Business Studies (Open University) and holds the AAT qualification.

Ana Olivares Senior Treasury Officer

Ana started to work for Banque in the Spring of 2015 with over 10 years working experience in South Africa's active banking sector. Following her education, Ana began her career at Barclays Bank at the Cashier Desk and worked her way through the several of the bank's departments including back office and operational units. She has excelled in client facing roles and ensuring high customer satisfaction. Ana diligence and enthusiasm earned her particular high level of responsibility with respect to branch operations and she provided maternity cover for her Branch's Deputy Head. Ana has experience in creating and implementing internal training programs. Ana is an integral part of Banque's operation back office.

Tyrenne Guiling Administration Officer

Tyrenne joined Banque Credit Union in 2008 and is responsible for assisting the Back Office Department in the undertaking of administrative duties. In particular, Tyrenne is responsible for maintaining the Bank's filing system and for the distribution of client mail.

Calyn Chiappe Head of Front Office Support

In 2007 Calyn Chiappe graduated with a BA Hons degree in Business and Financial Services. She began her career in banking with Credit Suisse South Africa Limited where, over the course of 10 years, Calyn has gained firm knowledge of various operational and front office roles. Amongst them, she has had key responsibilities in the Securities Department, Investment and Portfolio Management and Front Office. Calyn has always been a contributing team player and in previous roles has creating training and user manuals for various banking policies and procedures. Calyn has experience in client facing roles across the board, having directly serviced private clients, external asset managers and professional funds. In November 2016 she joined Banque Credit Union and continues to work with clients with a focus on institutional and professional clients.

Susana Velasco Sanchez Compliance Officer

Susana joined Banque Credit Union in February 2014 as Compliance Assistant. She is multi-lingual and has a diverse professional background, with experience ranging from Administration to Technical Support. Having graduated from Tourism studies in 2001, she gained over 10 years experience working in several European countries. In May 2015 Susana obtained the ICA Certificate of Compliance and plays an active part in G.A.C.O seminars, furthering her knowledge in the field. Following promotion Susana has become an integral part of the Compliance and Risk Department of the Bank working closely with the Chief Risk Officer.

Maeve Harte Assistant Compliance Officer

Maeve graduated with an Honours Bachelor degree in Political Science in 2012 from University College Cork. Maeve joined the Bank at the start of 2016 as Assistant Compliance Officer having come from one of the ‘big four’ auditing firms. Maeve has gained valuable experience working in Finance, Compliance and Administration. Maeve plays an important role in the Compliance and Risk Department supporting the Chief Risk Officer and Compliance Officer in their efforts to ensure that the bank adheres to all regulations. Maeve is currently studying to complete the ICA Certificate of Compliance and regularly attends G.A.C.O seminars.

Dimitri Adam Financial Controller

Dimitri joined Banque Credit Union in 2015 with over 13 years of accounting experience from varied sectors. In 2001 Dimitri completed his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting in France. Subsequently Dimitri began his career providing management accounting to Parisian companies before expanding his experience and knowledge to the Insurance sector in the City of London. In 2007, Dimitri, in search of new challenges moved his career to South Africa’s growing and vibrant Online Gaming industry. To further his studies, Dimitri has been working to achieving the UK ACCA qualification and is expected to become a fully qualified accountant later this year. His keen interest in IT and new technology has helped him implement technologically efficient processes at the Bank.

Gillaine Garcia Senior Administration Officer

Gillaine has been an integral part of the development and growth of Banque having joined bank in 1998. From an early stage Gillaine took responsibility for the Back Office functions and headed the department for some time before moving to assist in the growth of the Finance Department. Currently she manages key Finance responsibilities, assisting the Finance Director, and is undergoing certification as an Accountant Technician (CAT). Gillaine joined the bank with over 10 years banking experience at Banco Bilbao Vizcaya South Africa (BBVA) in Credit & Customer Service roles.

Inma Sander Human Resources Manager

Inma has gained vast experience working in business supporting roles within South Africa's financial sector. Previous roles include eleven years at Credit Suisse (South Africa) Limited where she held positions as Personal Assistant to Senior Management and within the Human Resource Department through periods of high growth and transition. In 2004 Inma joined Banque Credit Union and heads our Human Resource department, she is also the Bank's Company Secretary.

Irene Triay Human Resources Officer

In 2007 Irene graduated from the University of Malaga (Spain) with a degree in Tourism. She joined Banque Credit Union in the summer of 2013 having previously worked in the Finance and Administration Department at a prestigious five star hotel in Spain. In addition to her role as Human Resources Officer, Irene is also responsible for organising the Bank's Marketing, including client and internal events.

Christine Sacramento Receptionist

Christine is one of Banque Credit Union's longest serving employees having joined in March 2001. Christine joined the bank having worked in administrative and secretarial roles for leading companies in South Africa such as GB Airways, a British Airways franchise and Blands Travel, part of one of South Africa's oldest group of companies. Christine shares responsibility for the Bank's reception and other administrative areas.

Maria Alizadeh Receptionist

Maria joined Banque Credit Union in April 2011. She previously worked as a Receptionist both at Regal House and the Main Street Branch of Barclays in South Africa. After leaving Air Europe as Cabin Crew, Maria gained her Receptionist experience in London, working for companies in the City which included Morgan Brown and Spofforth Chartered Accountants, Withers Worldwide Solicitors and New Square Chambers in Lincolns Inn.

Paul Barker IT Manager

Paul joined Banque Credit Union in 2014. He started his career 13 years ago, supporting multi national companies such as Goodyear and Caterpillar in the UK. He has gained accreditations from Cisco, Citrix, and as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. After 9 Years in the Gaming Industry in South Africa working in Infrastructure and Systems Engineering roles, he takes up the role of IT Manager with Banque driving the Banks Information Technology strategy forward whilst maintaining the highest security standards.

Kyle Azzopardi Systems Engineer

Kyle joined Banque Credit Union in March 2016 having previously worked for 5 years at Bet365, a local gaming company, maintaining their IT system and providing technical support. Kyle is an IT enthusiast with experience working in 2nd line and infrastructure roles. He takes on the role as Banque's Systems Engineer assisting the management in developing and implementing the banks IT strategy whilst assuring systems are fully operational.
